FREE Systems Check
A focused, one-on-one diagnostic conversation to examine how work is actually functioning inside your team or organization.
When work feels heavier, slower, or more complicated than it should, this is where we step back and identify why and what deserves attention right now.
You’ll leave with a clear diagnosis of root causes, not symptoms, of what’s happening in your team or organization now and 1-3 steps to implement next.
This is for you, if…
Priorities may be defined, but they aren’t holding: Whether goals were formally set or not, work keeps coming in from all directions. People are making their own calls on what’s urgent, tradeoffs aren’t explicit, and alignment erodes as pressure increases.
Your team is busy, but progress feels slow: People are working hard, calendars are full, and everyone is “on,” yet meaningful work keeps slipping. Effort is high, but the way work flows, gets prioritized, and moves forward isn’t translating into consistent results.
Friction is showing up across the team: Communication breakdowns, unclear ownership, or cross-team dependencies are creating tension, rework, or quiet frustration.
You’re sensing strain before things fully break: Burnout, disengagement, or turnover hasn’t hit yet, but the warning signs are there, and you don’t want to wait until it does?
Most teams aren’t struggling because people don’t care or aren’t capable. The way work is set up makes it harder than it needs to be.
The Systems Check gives you space to step back, look at how work is actually functioning, and get clearer on what deserves attention next.
You might be wondering what this is (and isn’t)
This isn’t a sales pitch or a vague assessment.
The Systems Check exists because many teams are working hard, care deeply, and still feel like things aren’t adding up. Goals are set, plans exist, and yet work keeps feeling heavier, slower, or more complicated than it should.
Most organizations respond, but not always to the right problems. This conversation is your opportunity to identify and fix the problem.
A chance to look at how work is actually functioning right now—before deciding what, if anything, needs to change.
This conversation also gives you direct experience of how I think about diagnosing and redesigning work systems.
Here’s how it will work:
Step 1 – Complete a short pre-work questionnaire: Giving me context on your team, priorities, and where work may be breaking down so we can use our time well.
Step 2 – 50-minute Systems Check conversation: We’ll look at how work is actually happening, where friction or overload is showing up, and what patterns are worth paying attention to.
Step 3 – Surface what matters most right now: Together we’ll clarify the core issues to address first so that you’re taking the right next steps without unneeded work.
Step 4 – Decide on the right next step: We’ll determine if additional support is warranted, if so, what kind of support would be most useful. If not, you’ll still leave with clearer focus and direction you can act on.
